The response to this year’s call for submissions has been amazing and we have received a very interesting and diverse mix of films from all over the world.
We’ll notify accepted filmmakers and artists by July 12th, many thanks to everyone who submitted their film.

Celebrating its 5th Edition, we are pleased to announce our incoming issue Videofocus.
Thanks to all the applicants. The selection has been really hard with more than 680 submissions, but at the end we came with a selection of 20 artist, which divided in two groups. Experimental cinema and video art, fashion and original documentary. Further details will be forthcoming in the coming weeks. Previous issues are available: visit our gallery!

Due to the advent of technologies like DSLR, Digital Bolex and microbudget cinecameras, in the last decade it came a true revolution in the videoart field. The fusion of two worlds, videoart and experimental cinema, is attested by the increasing number of videoartists cooperating with filmmakers in the last decade, though this synergy is not limited to the improvement of the overall quality in mainstream cinema terms, but shows the
great potential of a new generation of video artists able to renew the cinematographic language.

VIDEOFOCUS IN VENICE: THE BIENNALE COLLEGE
Semptember 4th, 2013Knight of Arts and Letters of the French Republic, Romeo Castellucci, director of the Theatre Biennale in 2005, has been recently awarded with the 'Golden Lion'.
We have been pleased to participate to the premiere of his last creation, Nature and Origin of the Mind, during the 54th Venice Biennale. The primary goal of Biennale College has been to offer young artists and filmmakers an innovative platform, as well as the opportunity to work with awarded Masters.
A conception of art based on a dynamic dialogue between artists and audience which Stigmart10 has encouraged since its foundation. Greetings, Romeo!

CALL FOR INTERNATIONAL ARTISTS
Every year stigmart/ selects 10 worlwide artists to dedicate a focus on CONTEMPORARY ART.
stigmart/10 strongly encourages artists whose works present a synesthetic approach to art regardless of the medium used, stimulating a dialog between different cultures and artistic researches.
Each selected artist will be featured in our annual 2012/13 net-issue, including an interview, a 500 words statement, photoportrait and image sample of the work.
